Starting to learn to fly is very easy - to see if flying is for you the best way to begin is with a Discovery Flight, which costs just $95.

This flight will introduce you to one of our friendly instructors who will take you through the basics of flying. This half-hour flight will take you out to the local training area where your instructor will show you the controls and you will get to feel some of the sensations of flight.

Requirements

Naturally, there are no requirements to undertake a Discovery Flight, and you are welcome to launch straight into your first lesson.

Early on in your training you will need to fill out a licence application form and organise to have a medical with an approved aviation medical examiner.

Learning to fly should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience whether for private flying or as a career. The staff at Tasair are committed to this aim and are always willing and available to assist you with anything you may need.
