Flight Overview

Flight Time: Approximately 2 hours, plus 30 minutes on the ground at Maria Island.
Cost: $298.00 per person, minimum 2 people.





Flight Description

On your flight to the sunny East Coast you will see stunning sandy beaches and brilliant clear, blue water. You will fly up the coast to the Freycinet Peninsula and over the granite peaks of The Hazards.

Next, you fly over Schouten Island and onwards to the seal colony of Ile Des Phoques, where you will see the seals lazing on the rocks and in the water.

The flight continues down to the National Park of Maria Island where we will land for some light refreshments. On the ground you will see some of the old penal colony ruins as well as freely grazing Cape Barron Geese and Forester Kangaroos.

Departing Maria Island we will fly south to the Tasman Peninsula where you can see its spectacular cliffs rising high out of the waters. Around Tasman Island you will get a glimpse at the original lighthouse that still stands on top of the impenetrable cliffs of the island.

We then fly over the penal site of Port Arthur and back on to Hobart airport via more beautiful beaches and coastline.
