There are several different levels of pilot licences that can be attained.

Student Pilot Licence
(GFPT)
This is the first stage of any pilots licence.This licence allows a person
to recieve flying training and to carry passengers once a General Flying
Progress Test has been passed.

Unrestricted Private Pilot's Licence (PPL)
The PPL is a continuation of the Student Pilot Licence and allows the
holder many privilages to fly all over Australia.

Commerical Pilot's Licence (CPL)
This licence is for those students
who wish to pursue a professional flying career or those that simply
want to increase their skills.

Certificate IV in transport and Distribution
(Aviation Flight Operations)
This Commercial course is the ideal
course for the career orientated pilot and invovles training in Flight and
Ground Operations.
