The BAe 3100 Jetstream
is the most recent addition to Tasair's fleet.
This "mini-airliner" is ideal for enjoying a fast, comfortable
flight between our network of ports within Tasmania.
The Jetstream is also available for charter flights, and can
efficiently transport up to 18 passengers to destinations within
Tasmania, or on the mainland.

These aircraft are of a 10 seat configuration, seating 8 passengers
and their baggage in comfort. The Chieftain is quiet and comfortable,
allowing you to sit back and enjoy the ride.
The Chieftain is also the perfect aircraft for twin-engine
charter, allowing medium sized groups to travel together to
destinations all over Australia.

Rockwell Aero Commander 500s

The Aero Commander is the twin workhorse of the sky. This
aircraft is used for airline services, twin
charter, freight and specialized search and rescue operations.
For airline services it has a seven seat
configuration, seating 5 passengers in comfort. It is a very stable
aircraft, making it ideal for business people flying around the
state. In its freighter configuration
it can carry up to 850kg of freight at competitive rates.
Being such a stable aircraft it is also ideal for search
and rescue operations, including the deployment of lifesaving
equipment on-target for those in need.
Tasair runs 2 of these aircraft, based in Hobart and Devonport.

Cessna 206

Another aircraft selected for a specific job, the Cessna 206
is perfect for single engine charter,
scenic tours, bushwalker pick-ups and
drop-offs as well as hauling freight
in and out of short bush strips.
They can carry 5 bushwalkers and
their packs into and out of Melalueca airstrip with ease. With a
two-bladed propeller unlike any other operator in Tasmania, it has
exceptional take-off and climb performance, a must for safety when
operating in Tasmania's rugged wilderness.
Tasair currently has 3 of these aircraft, two based in Hobart and
the other in Devonport.

Cessna 172

As the best selling aircraft of all time, the Cessna 172 is
ideal for many areas of flight service.
These aircraft are currently used for private hire, flight
training, scenic flights, bushwalker
pick-ups and drop-offs as well as single
engine charter in areas such as fire-spotting and aerial survey.
A very versatile aircraft, it has seating for 4 and is extremely
reliable.
Tasair currently runs 3 of these aircraft in Hobart and 1 in Devonport.

A very agile and easy to fly aircraft, there is nothing complicated
about the Cessna 152. These aircraft are the perfect and
most cost effective aircraft for ab-initio flight
training. It is easily controlled and a pleasure to fly.
The other great thing about these planes is their ability to do
aerobatics, allowing us to provide you
with aerobatics training for the not so faint hearted.
